1. Winter Wineland in January
Join more than 100 wineries for Winter Wineland, a weekend celebration along the Wine Road. You’ll have the opportunity to meet winemakers, tour vineyards, and sample wine throughout the Russian River, Alexander, and Dry Creek valleys.
2. Olive Festival in February
The annual VinOlivo is a culinary feast for the senses. Sip Sonoma Valley’s best wines, savor culinary delicacies from Sonoma’s finest restaurants, as well as taste olives and olive oil produced by local artisans at the Olive Bar.
3. Sonoma County Barrel Tasting in March
Have you wanted to try vino in a unique way? During this unique event, sip from the barrel at many vineyards along the Wine Road. While you’re there, you can purchase “futures,” which is a discounted price for unbottled wine, then return to that winery when it is bottled in 12-18 months.
4. Passport to Dry Creek Valley in April
When you purchase your wine country passport, travel to over 45 wineries throughout Dry Creek Valley, including Dutcher Crossing Winery. Each of these vineyards offers a pairing of premium wines, gourmet cuisines, and live entertainment. While you’re there, take a vineyard tour, sample exclusive vintages, and indulge in exquisite food prepared by world-class chefs.
5. Summer Music Series from May through September
Every year, Wilson Artisan Wineries presents their annual concerts in Sonoma County. Each musical showcase features the sounds of live music, the tastes of savory wine, and the smells of delicious delicacies on Friday nights from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Before you attend, bring your blanket or lawn chair to this delightful event!
6. The Bodega Seafood, Art and Wine Festival in August
At the Bodega Seafood, Art, and Wine Festival, you can enjoy vino and microbrew tastings, live entertainment, excellently seasoned seafood, and other sumptuous small plates. In addition, you’ll see stunning art displays, environmental exhibits, and have the option to take a horse-drawn carriage ride.
7. Sonoma Wine Country Weekend in September
Sonoma County’s largest charity gala brings together over 200 of the area’s top winemakers, farmers, and chefs. Since its founding, this wonderful event has raised over $16 million for charities that help students, children, farm workers, and other people in need in our community.
8. Pinot on the River in October
This Pinot Noir Grand Tasting is one of our guests’ favorite events in Healdsburg, CA. You’ll taste excellent wines from more than 100 local wineries and meet friendly conversations with winemakers and other visitors.
9. Wine & Food Affair in November
Over 75 wineries in the Alexander, Dry Creek, and Russian River valleys work together to create this popular annual festival. When you stay at Honor Mansion, you’ll receive a “Tasting Along the Wine Road” cookbook upon check-in. On your wine country tour, you’ll also taste some of those recipes during your visit to the participating wineries.
10. The Lighting of the Snowman in December
Get in the holiday spirit at this annual celebration at the Cornerstone Gardens in Sonoma. You’ll be delighted by the sounds of live music in the snowflake-filled courtyard, as well as savory wine, scrumptious food, and engaging activities.
