What You Need to Know About the Healdsburg Golf Club

Surrounded by sky-high oak trees, rolling terrain, and expansive mountain vistas, the Healdsburg Golf Club at Tayman Park is a breathtaking place to tee off. Reportedly designed by famous golf course architect Alister MacKenzie, it’s one of the oldest courses in the area and offers a driving range, pro-shop, clubhouse, and more in the heart of Sonoma Wine Country. Just a mile from downtown Healdsburg and minutes from the Honor Mansion, the Healdsburg Golf Club is a wonderful place to play. Here are some of our favorite features.

Explore the Healdsburg Golf Club

The Course

Overlooking the beautiful Dry Creek Valley, Healdsburg Golf Club offers a PGA regulation nine-hole layout with some of the best views in Healdsburg. Visitors can enjoy a single round with plenty of time left for wine tasting, or play the course twice for an 18-hole experience. With challenging terrain and a variety of different shots to play, this course is fun for both beginners and low handicap golfers alike. Afterward, head to 19th Hole Sports Bar where you can sip on a cocktail, beer, or glass of wine from world-class Sonoma County wineries, all while enjoying spectacular scenery on the club’s outside patio.

Pro Shop

Need some new gear? The pro shop at Healdsburg Golf Club offers top-of-the-line golf clubs including Titleist, Taylor Made, Cleveland, and Ping, as well as a variety of golfing apparel and merchandise. You’ll find everything from bags and shoes to clothing and balls that will have you armed and ready for a day of fun.

Practice Facilities

For those who are new to the sport, the golf club features a year-round covered driving range for you to practice your swing. Situated on a bluff at the top of Fitch Mountain, this unique facility is modeled after the world-famous multi-tiered driving ranges of Japan and is over 300 yards in length. Guests can enjoy hitting a bucket of balls while overlooking Wine Country for a one-of-a-kind experience you’ll never forget.

The Club House

If you’re planning a luncheon, meeting, birthday party, or wedding, the Healdsburg Club House at the golf club is an ideal location for any event. The historic clubhouse and garden area can host up to 130 people, and the warm atmosphere and picturesque views are sure to impress your guests. Plus, their helpful and attentive staff will take care of every detail so that you can relax and enjoy the day.
