This vineyard is the premier producer of Dry Creek Valley sparkling wines and is in their 8th year of crafting sparkling wines using the traditional Champagne method. Their sparkling Blanc de Blanc, sparkling Syrah, and sparkling Grenache are all made from grapes grown in their estate vineyards, and their classic wines including Chardonnay, Syrah, Zinfandel, and Cabernet Sauvignon are made with fruit from nearby Healdsburg neighbors.
Just steps from the Honor Mansion is Seghesio, one of the top wineries in the area. Known for their acclaimed Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel, Italian varietals, and family hospitality, this winery exudes the warmth and authenticity of Sonoma wine country. Located in the center of Dry Creek Valley, this winery occupies land that was once part of the C.L. Lambert Ranch, a sizeable property that included a school, store, farmland and the trestle bridge, built by Lambert in 1915. Today, this bridge is surrounded by vineyards and still provides passage across Dry Creek to the winery. Lambert Bridge produces 13 different wines, all made in limited quantity, and welcomes guests as part of the family.
Planted in 1980, the nearly 40-year-old vines at Mauritson Wines are just hitting their prime. Located at the corner of Dry Creek and Lytton Springs Roads, the great drainage in the soil produces smaller berries and limits the overall yields. The resulting fruit has flavors of bright berry, black pepper, silky tannins, and a long complex finish.
This winery is perfect for a more personal vineyard experience and features an intimate tasting room and charming garden that is ideal for picnics. For over 30 years, this rolling 20-acre vineyard has been growing Cabernet Sauvignon grapes that produce some of the most sought-after wines in the entire country.
