The Alexander Valley is located between the town of Healdsburg and the Calistoga area. This is the warmest of the three winery valleys, and because of the climate the wineries located here are most renowned for their Cabernet Sauvignon. It is in this valley that you can find well known names such as Silver Oak, historic family wineries like Robert Young Estates, and hidden gems such as Garden Creek.

The Russian River Valley, located to the South of the Mansion, is the largest of the valleys. This area is closer to the ocean, and gets coastal breezes which create cooler temperatures perfect to grow Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. With wineries starting in Healdsburg and spreading almost to the Pacific Ocean, as well as the Russian River, where you can kayak and canoe, and Armstrong Redwood State Park, with lots of hiking options, this area offers an endless amount of activities to fill your day.

The Dry Creek Valley is just to the northwest of the Honor Mansion. This area is most known for its amazing Zinfandels. The smallest of the three valleys, the Dry Creek Valley still offers an array of beautiful wineries from the relatively unknown family wineries such as Unti and Zichichi, to better known, larger favorites like Ferrari Carano.
